Early Accomplishments

At 11 years, she enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and participated in school plays while in high school, where she also played soccer.

In 1998 & 1999, she was with All-Eastern US High School Honors Chorus singing soprano. She soon made a screen debut in the series, Get Real until 2000 and a film debut in The Princess Diaries (2001).

Few of her best works include Rachel Getting Married (2008), Love & Other Drugs (2010), Les Misérables and The Dark Knight (both 2012) while also notably starring in Rio (2011 & 2014) and Bride Wars (2009).

Family

She is the middle child and only daughter of Gerald and Kate Hathaway with her brothers being Michael and Thomas.

She and her husband became parents to their son named Jonathan in 2016. In 2019 she will give birth to her second child.

Religion

Anne was raised Catholic and even considered being a nun but left after her brother came out as gay. She tried Episcopalian for a while and now, she isn’t sure what she believes in.
