Bruce Wagner is a well-known American writer, known for his novels that depict a sardonic view of the Hollywood life and screenplay about his books and others.

Early Accomplishments

He dropped out in his junior year at Beverly Hills High and made a living by driving an ambulance, being a Beverly Hills Hotel chauffeur and working at bookstores.

He began writing scripts and articles for magazines during the 70s. His debut screenplay, Young Lust and debut novel, Force Majeure: The Bud Wiggins Stories both almost went into production.

Best Known For

Some of his well-known publications include The Chrysanthemum Palace (2005), Dead Stars (2012), older ones like Wild Palms (1993), I’m Losing You (1996) and his most recent, I Met Someone (2016). His books express an apocalyptic and spiritual overview of humankind through Hollywood’s lens.
