Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd, simply known as Wynonna by fans, is a multi award winner and “hitmaker” whose name has become synonymous with country music.

Early Accomplishments

She discovered her talent of singing when she was 12 and began singing with her mother. She also got a guitar for Christmas and learned how to play it soon.

She began to sing professionally at 19 with her mother, earning their first No. 1 spot with their second song, Mama He’s Crazy in 1984.

Best Known For

After the astounding success with The Judds for 8 years, she began a solo career in 1992, her debut album, Wynonna featured 5 No. 1 hits and went on to hit RIAA-certified 5x platinum status. Some of her well-known songs are She Is His Only Need, I Saw the Light and No One Else On Earth.

Sexual Orientation

Wynonna is straight. She dated Arch Kelley III from 1993 and married him in 1996 but divorced 2 years later. She married her ex-bodyguard, D.R. Roach in 2003 but split in 2007, 5 days after he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year old girl. In 2012, she married Cactus Moser after dating for 3 years. 

Family

Born as Christina Ciminella, she is the child of Charles Jordan and Naomi Judd but was adopted by Michael Ciminella and regards him as dad. With Kelley, she is a mother of 2; son Elijah (born 1994) and daughter Grace (born 1998).

Religion

Wynonna is a practicing Christian who never fails to use her music as a tool to express her love for God and His love for her.
