After moving to the United States when she was 10, she began a life of glam as a fashion model through her teenage years. She was covered by Cosmopolitan and Vogue.

She made her acting debut in 1984 in the short-lived series, Paper Dolls and was cast in her first film, a romcom titled The Sure Thing the following year.

Best Known For

She is best known to television viewers as Paige Matheson in Knots Landing (1986-1993) and as Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives (2004-2009). She won a combined 3 awards and 7 nominations for these.

Other worthy mentions are Dynasty (2018-2019) and a voice role in 26 episodes of 2001’s The Legend of Tarzan as well as starring in the films Spy Hard (1996) and Codename: The Cleaner (2007).
