Rebecca Romijn

Rebecca Romijn has recorded remarkable success as a fashion model and her transition to acting has seen her mark even greater success. 

Early Accomplishments

Growing up in a poor family, she earned a living in her teenage years by doing several jobs such as cutting dead birds at a gourmet poultry depot.

She began modelling at the age of 19 while in college which she left. She lived in Paris until 1994 appearing in numerous international magazines and modelled for many designers.

Best Known For

She starred as Mystique in the first 3 X-Men movies right from 2000 to 2006, as Joan in The Punisher in 2004 and as Lily/Laure in Femme Fatale in 2002.

She also appeared in 33 episodes of Ugly Betty in 2007, as Eve Baird in The Librarians while also being a judge and host of the TV show, Skin Wars both in 2014.

Sexual Orientation

Rebecca is straight, contrary to what some media outlets may report. She married actor, John Stamos in 1998 but separated in 2004 and divorced a year later. 

She began dating Jerry O’Connell in 2004 and got engaged in 2005. They have been married since 2007.  

Family

She and her younger sister, Tamara are daughters of Jaap and Elizabeth (née Kuizenga) Romijn. 

She and her husband welcomed beautiful twin girls in 2010. Their names are Dolly Rose and Charlie Tulip O’Connell.

Religion

She does not talk about her faith. The only information of importance is that her mother’s dad was a Presbyterian priest which may suggest she is a Christian but not so religious.
