Early Accomplishments

Her journey to the entertainment life began when she was 2 years old as she began to formally study theatre and music.

She was almost 10 when she made her screen debut in the 1995 movie, Divas. She also appeared on The Howie Mandel Show in 1998.

Best Known For

Breaking into the industry with White Chicks and Never Die Alone, both in 2004, she has made fame with Step Up in 2006 and as T-boz in the biopic, CrazySexyCool in 2013.

On TV, she starred in Disney fans favorite, That’s So Raven from 2004 to 2005 and much later in 2014’s One Love

She has a son Josiah (born 2011) with a former boyfriend who abandoned her, and with her husband, son Machai (born 2015) and daughter Aniya (born 2018).
