Her first public comic performance was her high school audience when she was 17 and graduated as the prom & homecoming queen and also senior class president.

Her The Rosie O'Donnell Show aired between 1996 and 2002, winning hearts and several awards including 11 Daytime Emmy awards.

She was a collaborator of the famous R Family Vacations for LGBT families.

On screen, she has starred in Sleepless In Seattle in 1993 and The Flintstones in 1994.
