After being encouraged to watch movies as a little boy by his mother, even those with adult content, his fascination with films saw him wrote his first screenplay titled Captain Peachfuzz and the Anchovy Bandit at just 14 years.
Quentin left school when he was 15 years to learn the trade and after working several jobs, he directed his first film, My Best Friend’s Birthday in 1987.

Quentin has amassed 136 award wins, including 2 Academy, Golden Globe & BAFTA Awards each.
He is credited for writing and directing blockbuster movies such as Kill Bill: Vol. 1 & 2 in 2003 and 2004, Django Unchained in 2012 and The Hateful Eight in 2015.

Quentin is a child of Tony Tarantino and Connie McHugh. The couple divorced shortly after his birth and his mother married Curtis Zastoupil but got divorced in 1983.
His siblings are sisters Ronnajean and Tanya Tarantino and brothers Edward Tarantino and Ron Zastoupil.
He will be a father for the first time in 2020.Religion
Quentin admits he was born to Catholic parents but never practiced and is an atheist. He declared in 2003 that cinema is his religion and France is his Vatican.
