John Kerry

John Kerry is a politician and a former member of the Senate. 

Early Accomplishments

Coming from a very wealthy family it’s not surprising John attended a boarding school. 

Later graduating from Yale University, John joined the army and took part in the Vietnam War. 

Best Known For

John has done a lot for US foreign policy, playing an important role in US diplomacy during the Iraq War. He has paid multiple visits to countries of the Middle East. He supported the American troops and conducted investigations while there.  

John ran for president in 2004, but, sadly, didn’t make it. 

Sexual Orientation

John is straight. 

Family

John’s parents are Richard Kerry and Rosemary Forbes. His father was a military man, and very religious, so John’s childhood was heavily influenced by that. 

He has three siblings, named Cameron, Diana, and Margaret. 

He was married to Julia Thorne, they had two children together, Vanessa and Alexandra. 

Later John married Teresa Heinz, they are raising her children from previous marriage, Christopher, André, and Henry.

Religion 

He is Catholic. When he was a child, John’s family were active church-goers. 

Worth To Know

On his mother’s side he is related to the Forbes family. 

John’s talent of public speaking began to develop when he was in middle school.

He is very fond of discussion clubs, and was a member of one in Yale, in his final year even becoming the Club President. 

After being discharged from the army with honors, he entered the Vietnam Veterans Against the War organization, where he was a very active member.
