Keith Carradine

A worthy continuation of the Carradine family, Keith Carradine is a songwriter and actor.

Early Accomplishments

Keith ventured to Colorado to study acting in college but didn’t feel like to continue and left after a few months. 

He moved back to L.A and started living with his brother, who was the main reason Keith kept pursuing his dream. He even helped Keith with drama classes and finding an agent. 

McCabe & Mrs. Miller was his first appearance on a movie screen. 

Best Known For

Keith’s most famous roles are as agent Frank Lundy in Dexter, in Nashville as Tom Frank, and as Bill Hickok in Deadwood. 

He is a part of the Carradine family, where all of the members are actors.

Besides television, Keith has done a lot of musicals, such as Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Mindgame, Foxfire, the Will Rogers Follies, and others. The later one even brought him a nomination for a Tony for Best Musical Actor.

Keith’s parents were both actors, John Carradine and Sonia Sorel.

He has 5 siblings: two younger brothers, named Christopher and Robert, 2 half-brothers David Carradine and Michael Bowen and step-brother Bruce.

Keith dated Shelley Plimpton with whom has a daughter Martha Plimpton. 

Keith married Sandra Will, they have two children: Sorel and Cade. 

Now he is married to Hayley DuMond, a fellow actress.
