Her artistry began with music while still in boarding school and at 19 years, she and her music crew, Milo Roth Band signed a music contract.
She made her acting debut in a 1990 TV film, God on the Rocks and soon became a TV regular by doing an ad for a deodorant, Right Guard.

After getting her big acting break in 1995 with Circle of Friends, she became a mainstay with Good Will Hunting in 1997.
She has been cast in Grosse Point Blank in 1997, The Phantom of the Opera in 2004 as well as being part of the main cast of About a Boy in 2005 and now in Speechless since 2016.
