Vitali Klitschko

Vitali Klitschko is a politician and currently (2018) a Mayor of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, previously a professional boxer. 

Early Accomplishments

Vitali started out as a kickboxer, later moving into professional boxing. 

He spent a lot of his life in Germany, holding a lot of his important matches there. 

Best Known For

Vitali is most known for his sportsman career. He is an undefeated Heavyweight Champion, having an astonishingly successful run as a boxer. He has set many records, one of them being one of two boxers in the world who never have been knocked out. 

He also is the only boxer in the heavyweight category to have been named a world champion in 3 different decades. 

Vitali began his career as a politician in 2006. 

In 2014 he won the mayoral election.

Vitali’s father, Vladimir, was an army man. 

Named after their father, his younger brother, Wladimir Klitschko, is a internationally known boxer as well.

The couple has three children, named Yegor-Daniel, Elizabeth-Victoria, and the youngest one, Maxim.
