Diva Zappa

Daughter of musician Frank Zappa, Diva is an artist and a TV-personality. 

Early Accomplishments

Diva began to show artistic potential at 12, winning the poster competition aimed at battling child abuse. She made her debut on the big screen in 1998 in a comedy movie Anarchy TV, alongside with her siblings. 

Best Known For

Diva has established her own company called Hand Made Beauty, which specializes in custom-made knitted accessories. 

Diva’s main role is to always ensure her father’s legacy, which she does by attending events where Frank Zappa’s work is being displayed.

Her most impressive work to date is Emilio the Scarf, that is promised to be 1,609 meters long when completed. It has been a project of 8 years already and Diva thinks it will take 15 more to finish it.

Sexual Orientation

Diva is straight. In the past, she dated several men but according to Diva marriage and husband is not her aim in life.

Family

Dive is the youngest of her 3 siblings Ahmet, Moon and Dweezil who were born to Frank and Gail Zappa.

She doesn’t have any kids.

Because Diva and her brother, Ahmet, were given more percentages of family’s trust fund, they had a massive controversy with their older sister and brother, Moon and Dweezil.

Religion 

Although her father Frank Zappa was known to be an atheist and despised organized religion, Diva hasn’t made a clear stance on this matter.

Diva’s name was given her by her father because of her impressive vocal range as a child. 

She is a certified yoga instructor.

Diva has knitted a ball gown for Metallica’s guitarist Robert Trujillo’s wife Chloe, which she wore at 2009 Grammy Awards.

Her hand-made pieces are priced in the $200 range, the cheapest one standing at $180.
