Adam Lambert

Adam Mitchel Lambert is a very talented American singer-songwriter and is also a stage actor.

Early Accomplishments

As early as 10 years, Adam had begun acting in local theatre plays such as Grease, Camelot and Charlie Brown and he also became a substitute actor for Broadway musical Wicked. 

Also, while in high school, he was a key member of the school’s theatre group, choir and jazz band. 

Before he turned 20, he became a regular singing attraction on a cruise ship.

Best Known For

He is most famous for his exploits in the 8th season of the reality television singing show American Idol in which he narrowly lost out on winning, finishing second place. 

For Your Entertainment, his debut album in 2009 was a huge commercial success, raking in global sales of over 2 million units. It features songs such as his smash hit Whataya Want From Me.

Sexual Orientation

Adam is openly gay and in 2006, his first publicly known partner was Brad Bell who he dated until 2008. 

He dated Ferras almost immediately after for a year. 

He was with Drake LaBry for a few months in 2009 and Johnny Weir in 2010. His last known partner is Sauli Koskinen, their relationship lasting from 2011 to 2013. 

Family

Adam is the elder of the 2 children born to Eber and Leila Lambert. His younger brother is Neil Lambert.

Religion 

Adam follows in his mother’s religious footsteps of being an Ashkenazi-Jew.

During his running of American Idol, he was roommates and is still friends with the eventual winner of the competition, Kris Allen.
