The Haitian diva Garcelle Beauvais is a former fashion model who has also made a success for herself in Hollywood with her acting talents.

Early Accomplishments

When she was 17 years old, she relocated to New York from Miami to fulfil her dreams of being a model. 

She soon found herself in print campaigns for Mary Kay, Avon and walking the runway for Calvin Klein. 

She had her first movie screen appearance when she was 20 in Manhunter before playing a Rose Bearer in fan favorite Coming To America 2 years later. 

Best Known For

She starred in The Jaime Foxx Show from 1996 to 2001 and also featured a great deal in NYPD Blue for 3 years after that. 

In 2011, she also excelled in Franklin & Bash. 

Her movie features includes box office hits like Barbershop 2: Back In Business in 2004, White House Down in 2013 and Spiderman: Homecoming in 2017.

She was featured in the August 2007 edition of Playboy.

Sexual Orientation

Garcelle is straight. Her 9-year marriage to Daniel Saunders ended in 2000 but she walked down the aisle with Mike Nilon a year after. On the grounds of infidelity, she divorced him in 2011. 

She is rumored to have dated Will Smith and Sean Penn at different times.

She is the littlest of the 7 children born to Axel Jean Pierre and Marie-Claire Beauvais. 

She is the single mother of 3 children who are Oliver Saunders born in 1991 and twins Jax and Jaid Nilon born in 2007.
