Who is Case Woodard?

Case Woodard is talented singers/songwriters of traditional R&B. He is popularly known as Case.

Early Accomplishments

From 1992, Case started out with R&B crew that called themselves Future and was also part of Black, which was an R&B duo. 

He later spent some time singing background for several singers such as Usher as well as co-writing songs for them. 

He signed on to Def Jam Records after being discovered when he sang a song written by Faith Evans.

Best Known For

His name will always be synonymous with his chart-topping, 2001’s hit Missing You and providing an OST for movie The Nutty Professor titled Touch Me, Tease Me in 1996. 

Also, his songs Faded Pictures with Joe and Happily Ever After both in 1999 are worthy of mention. 

He has 6 studio albums with Personal Conversation in 1999 and Open Letter in 2001 both certified gold.

Sexual Orientation

Case is straight. He was in a relationship with R&B singer Mary J. Blige in the mid-90s but it was done discretely because Case was engaged to Nicole, his partner at that time. 

He was also rumored to be dating Beyonce in 1999 but denied the reports.

He is the father of 3 children; a son and 2 daughters. 

He also has younger sister called Kim.

Religion

He grew up under a zealous Jehovah Witness mother but as he grew older, he slowly grew out of it and religion entirely.

Worth To Know

He had to take a break from music for a long time tragically when he accidentally shot himself in the throat in 2002.
