Being an actress, director, singer/songwriter, dancer, writer, businesswoman and philanthropist while being a celebrity wife and mother is what American diva Jada Pinkett-Smith has been able to pull off for almost 3 decades without breaking a sweat.

Early Accomplishments

Jada took lessons in piano and dancing as a kid before studying at arts schools in Baltimore first, then North Carolina. She relocated to Los Angeles and within a short while, made a debut screen performance in one episode of True Colors in 1990 when she was 19 and featured in A Different World the following year.

Best Known For

Her most notable works are voicing Gloria the hippo in Madagascar in 2005 and all its sequels, The Nutty Professor in 1996, The Matrix in 2003 and 2005, Bad Moms in 2016. 

She also played Fish Mooney in TV series Gotham.

Sexual Orientation

Jada is straight. She and Will Smith have been together since they walked down the aisle in 1997 after they met on set of his sitcom in 1995. Prior to that, she dated Grant Hill in 1993 and Wesley Snipes in 1991. 

There are unconfirmed rumors that she dated Tupac Shakur for 3 years while they were classmates at Baltimore School of the Arts.

Family

She is the child of Robsol Pinkett Jr. and Adrienne Banfield-Jones and the elder sister of Caleeb Pinkett. 

She has 2 children who are Jaden and Willow Smith. 

From Will’s former marriage, she also has a stepson called Trey Smith.

Religion

Jada is a Christian but claims her religion is love. She once made a huge donation to Church of Scientology spurring reports that she is a Scientologist. She instantly and entirely refuted such claims.
