Arsenio Hall

Having a 4-decade career in the entertainment industry, Arsenio Cheron Hall has become famous as a comedian, an actor and a TV personality, hosting a famous eponymous comic show.

Early Accomplishments

Growing up, Arsenio was a child magician. 

After high school in 1973, he schooled at Ohio University and later Kent State University. He then relocated to Chicago first, then Los Angeles to follow a comedy career and soon landed a small role in Soul Train in 1981 and Madame’s Place in 1982. 

In 1983, he hosted The ½ Hour Comedy Hour.

Best Known For

From 1989 to 1994, the Arsenio Hall Show aired and made a comeback in 2013 which he hosted until 2014. 

Arsenio hosted Star Search from 2003-04 and he played supporting roles alongside Eddie Murphy in the 1988 film, Coming to America. 

He also voiced Winston Zeddemore in The Real Ghostbusters cartoon for 3 seasons from 1986 and starred in Martial Law in 1998.

Arsenio is straight. He is rumored to have dated Emma Samms for a year in 1983 and Pamela Anderson in 1995.

He was famously in an on and off relationship with Paula Abdul from 1989 to 2013. 

Family

He is born to Anne and Fred Hall. In 1999, he became a father with Cheryl Bonacci, his ex-partner to a son named Arsenio Jr. 

Religion

His father was minister in the Baptist Church and since Arsenio is not known to publicly discuss religion or if he is objected to it, we believe he is still a Christian.
