He began his way to glory in cinematic world in the 1970s, acting as one of the screenwriters of “Animal House”.
Ramis filmed “Groundhog Day”, played in 28 episodes of “Second City TV” and amazed in “Stripes”.

Tied the knot with Anne Ramis in 1967 but they divorced in 1984. Harold had a daughter Violet from the first marriage.
From 1989 to 2014, he went to the church with Erica Mann. The couple raised up two sons: Julian Arthur and Daniel Hayes.
