Who is Carrie Prejean?

Caroline Michelle Boller, popularly known as Carrie Prejean is a fashion model, an ex-beauty queen and an author. 

Early Accomplishments

She attended San Diego Christian College where she studied special education. She worked, and still works with outreach ministries that help children with developmental disabilities. She also modeled for Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Sak’s Fifth Avenue.

Best Known For

She participated in the Miss USA 2009 pageant as the newly-crowned Miss California and she made second place. 

She authored a book titled Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight against Gossip, Hate and Political Attacks where she addresses all misinterpretations from the media.

Carrie is straight. She is rumored to have dated popular Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps in 2009 but met former American football player Kyle Boller later that year. They got wedded in mid-2010 and have been enjoying marital bliss since.

She has a brother Billy and a sister Christina.

Carrie is a very firm evangelical Christian. She says that the Miss USA pageant incident was a temptation from Satan but she had to keep true to her religious beliefs.

Worth To Know

Prejean was involved in a huge controversy during the 2009 Miss USA pageant when she replied a question by a judge on gay/lesbian marriages. She said that marriages “should be between a man and a woman”. 

She was involved in a legal dispute when she lost her Miss California title in 2009 for a contract breach.
