Glenn Close is an American actress, producer and singer.

Glenn's acting career was launched in 1974 at Helen Hayes Theatre with her role in the play Love For Love. 

Best Known For

Glenn has attained the most recognition for her role in the 1987 movie Fatal Attraction. Her role in this movie earned her a People's Choice Award as well as a Golden Kamera Award.

She has been married 3 times. 

In 1969, she got married to Cabot Wade but their union, unfortunately, lasted for just 2 years. 

13 years after her divorce, she got married to James Marlas. Though this marriage was relatively short, yet it lasted longer than her first and ended in 1991. 

In 2006, she gave love another try and got married to Evan Shaw but this union also ended in a divorce in 2015.

Glenn has a daughter Annie Starke whom she had with one of her partners John H. Starke. 

Glenn's father William Close was a popular American surgeon whose work mostly impacted Congo and central Africa. 

Religious Belief

Growing up, Glenn was raised under the strict confinement of the religious cult her father belonged to called Moral Re-Armament. This cult literally controlled her entire childhood and adolescent years keeping her bound for 15 years. As an adult, she decided to leave the religion and freely pursued an acting career.
